About NWC

Clean water is perhaps our most fundamental resource. We drink it, bathe in it, clean with it, and manufacture essential products with it. Yet only 3% of the water on our planet is drinkable. Access is often difficult, and further complicated when untreated wastewater returns to the environment.

PT Nusantara Water Centre was founded in 1991 as a small environmental analytical laboratory in Jakarta. Since then, NWC has grown to offer a comprehensive suite of services addressing analytical, engineering, maintenance, and training needs for water and wastewater treatment, analysis and purification facilities. We help you keep your water safe.

We have extensive experience with water contracts at municipal and regional levels across Indonesia, in collaboration with industry, local government, as well as international agencies and NGOs.

Our Approach

We strive for quality, professionalism, and efficiency in every aspect of our work. How do we achieve that?

Broad Field Experience. We have accumulated practical experience with contracts ranging from academic environmental analyses to tsunami relief operations. From Aceh to South Sumatra, Java to East Timor, we have completed challenging projects in a variety of environmental, economic, and political circumstances.

Theoretical Depth. We augment our field experience with theoretical knowledge via regular internal seminars. As a result, our staff has a deeper understanding of fundamental issues in water science and engineering, such as water and wastewater treatment processes and the hydraulics of water distribution.

Flexibility and Efficiency. Our personnel are mobile, flexibly deployed, and cross-trained in multiple skills. Compared to larger companies, our management style reduces bureaucracy and lets us provide more efficient and effective service to our customers.

Our Qualifications

NWC continually strives to improve and expand our capabilities and to maintain the qualifications of our staff. Our analytical laboratory has been accredited by the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works since 1997, ISO 17025 accredited by the Indonesian Komite Akreditasi Nasional (KAN) since 2006, and registered as an environmental laboratory with the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry since 2012.
